I am an animal-loving Adirondack native who moved to Rochester, New York  for college and decided to call it home. After four years at Rochester Institute of Technology, I landed a job with the Irondequoit Country Club as their one and only Wedding and Event Coordinator. That job allowed me to combine my passion for design and creativity with my aptitude for organization and time management. After two years I was offered a position at The Radisson Riverside as a wedding specialist, they needed help boosting sales and the job was a great opportunity to grow and expand my knowledge, so of course I accepted it. Shortly after the opportunity to create Black Label Events and Design was presented to me and I gladly accepted the challenge! While running Black Label I took on the challenge of General Manager of Arbor Venues. While there for a short 6 months before returning to my main love (Black Label), I was able to implement a better workflow of the organization, increase sales, and reorganize and simplify their processes.

I like getting lost in a new place, taking spontaneous trips, spoiling my animals, getting my hands dirty, and playing with my kids. I consider myself very blessed to bear witness to veracious love stories every weekend. I’m living the life I've imagined.

Amanda Blank

Senior Event Planner & Designer

Amanda comes from a high volume wedding venue where she worked with over 20 couples each year. Amanda’s fun spirit makes her the perfect addition to the Black Label Family.

Amanda works with a handful of couples each year, making sure their wedding days are full of laughter and love.

When she isn’t working you can catch Amanda at home spending time with her family, at a local brewery, listening to live music, or cooking a five star meal.

If you are lucky enough to be working with Amanda you will surely gain a lifelong friend.

 

Amber Shetler

Senior Event Planner

Amber’s passion for event planning, coupled with her ability to multi-task and creatively execute an event makes her a great asset to the team.

Amber has tackled events of all sizes but her greatest challenge yet was a 400 person wedding with 25 ice sculpture centerpieces.

Bri Carpenter

Senior Event Planner

Bri is a huge face is the industry. She help curate Roc Holiday Village and Pride in Rochester. Her connections and work ethic make her the golden ticket for every client. She is passionate about creating celebrations that leave a lasting impact on couples and their families for years to come.

Rebecca Osborn

Senior Event Specialist

Rebecca is a veteran in the industry. Her vast hospitality experience and knowledge are a huge asset to any event. Rebecca’s full time job is teaching 5th graders all about the world.

Rebecca specializes in food and beverage. She knows proper service and how to keep an event moving. When vendors find themselves in a pickle Rebecca is the first to jump in and help.

Having Rebecca at your event is like winning the lottery.

 

Jen Schwytzer

Senior Event Assistant

Jen is our resident therapist (but seriously she is a licensed social worker). Jen is also life coach and foster mom. Jen is calm under pressure, great with fun family dynamics, and the perfect calming force for any last minute jitters.

Jen loves to travel, and is always planning her next adventure. You might not see Jen at your event if the Giants have a home game, but if you are lucky enough to have Jen just know you are in great hands!

 

Ashley Knight

Senior Event Assistant

Ashley is a makeup artist running a hugely successful business (Ashley Knight Makeup). On busy weekends Ashley steps in to help us. Having a makeup artist on hand comes in handy on those 90 degree days when you are looking for a touch up. Ashley is a hard worker and strives to keep a smile on everyone’s face.
